The Mercy Ministry has a Food Pantry that is available on Mondays between 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We are in need of keeping the Food Pantry stocked. If you can help with any size food and/or cash donation, or if you would like more info, please write "Food Pantry" on your connect card. If you would like to donate some of your valueable time, clothing, or non-perishable food items, please stop by Mondays between 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Thanks and GOD Bless.
Opportunity to Pour Out Your Life for Our Kids
At NewCommunity we desire for our children to know God intimately (hearing His voice), grow into His image and their identity in Him and go in His power and might to change their world. They are at such an impressionable age and just love to have fun. Teaching them about God's Word is amazing and such a God-given responsibility! If you would love the opportunity to have a great time pouring into the lives of our kids, now is the time. The new teaching schedule will be for the months of September through December. The commitment is to serve four Sundays within the four month period. Write "I love our kids" on your connect card for more information. Opportunities exist for all departments: Nursery, Preschool, and K-5 grades.
Opportunity to Celebrate with Us:
Titus 2 Women
Wednesday, September 22nd @ 6:30pm - 8:30pm
A group based on Titus 2 - "the older women can teach the younger women to..." We will be a gathering of women learning from each other domestic skills, principles and spiritual truths. On Wednesday September 22nd, we will be learning to make apple pies from scratch. Come do a taste test and vote for your favorite pie crust. Share a homemade meal*, ask questions, take home new recipes, share what skills you would like to learn, and just come have fun! We will meet at Kathy England's home.
* The cost of the meal will be shared, so please RSVP by writing "T2" on your connect card or sign-up at the table in the back.

Youth Ministries
Mid-Week Service
Thursdays @ 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Dave & Michelle's Home
A weekly study of " God's Power to Transform You: A study in the book of Romans". Our current series titled "End Times Simplified" will conclude this Thursday. Child care is provided.
For Men Only
Thursdays @ 5:45am - 7:00am at the NewCommunity Center
In response to our Purity series (winning the battle for purity) some men have made it clear that they want to journey together, becoming the men GOD has called them to be. We talk about strategies for purity, explore the Word for wisdom (currently the life of King David), and pray. These are not necessarily "accountability" meetings nor are they strictly "Bible studies" ; We desire to get real and see results in our lives.

2 Timothy 2:3 - 4
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (NKJV)
